Red Walls

Sat, 04/02/2016 - 11:17 -- SDivi14

If those walls could talk,

I know what they'd say;

It'd be no comfort to families,

Whose lights've gone away.

For when sky fades to black,

And blues turn to grays,

And gun's life-taking crack,

Sets small Youth's eyes aglaze,

No one is safe,

Not one unaffected,

Red noses now chafe,

And red walls have reflected.

We cannot grasp yet why,

People do what they do,

But you won't see red walls cry,

'Til it happens to you.
