Reasons Go

There's more truth in going to college because you like doing something than doing something because you like "doing something" with your life.
That's what gets me sometimes - that people get caught in the whirl of things and forget to put reason before rhyme.
Unfortunate, but true,
for me, and for you.
We are all caught up in rhymes and seek after everything we're taught to without reality, doomed to forget ourselves in the future as we do now.

That is,
If you and I don't step back.
And stare through the door,
not as the people we envision ourselves,
but as the light that shines through it
what it really is and always will be.

The truth.
