Realistic Fairytale

I don't have a big dress to wear to the ball

I don't have long hair to watch it fall

I don't have a beast man to be called mine

I have to be home before nine

I don't have a prince to help me twirl

I don't have a lobster to have fun in the water whirl

I don't have a pumpkin to take across the street

I have a room that isn't neat

I have myself to get me through the day

I have my parents telling me to stay

I have myself to get through the pain

I open my umbrella whenever there is rain

I know these tales are what I want to achieve

I have to keep an open mind and believe

I must accept the good with naughty

That's what fairytales have to taught me
