Real Emotions

I’m defensive,
“everybody is against me, pointing fingers,
judging from a distance,
picking out labels that I adapted to.”
I know that’s not true though,
but when your tryna understand yourself
and figure out your life,
it becomes overwhelming,
when you have people telling you
what to do and who you are.
I swear I’m always working
cause my mind never gets a break.
My thoughts working my nerve.
I feel pressure every time I try to take steps to moving forward, I hear your supposed to be this
and your supposed to do that.
I’m stressed.

MVP-Most Valuable Poet

this is common where people want to do what's best for you, but they can be hurtful

you live life in your eyes and no one else

everyone has an opinion, but at the end, the question is how does it look to you?

you? does it makes sense? what works and doesn't work?

whatever it is you're dealing, you take steps forward and not worry about what others are going to say

they are not in your shoes

this is well said poem overall-many can relate
