Puzzles and Rain

I woke up.

Remembered your face.

Sound of your voice.

Way that you taste.

It all came down.

Played like a game.

Sinking ships and airplanes.

Into your eyes.

Puzzles and rain.

Smoke and mirrors.

Trapped in a glaze.

Been a long time

Since we walked away.

Still so much.

I needed to say.
