The way I see it
There is one truth to life,
Life always moves on,
Nothing lasts forever, 
We are all at time's mercy.
The sad part is
Most of us spend our lives
Worrying about what holds for our future,
Never realizing what we have in the present,
We all were once 
The little boys and girls
Who looked at everything 
With excitement,
With wonder,
And with amazement.
The future meant nothing 
For life right then had everything 
We ever could want.
Life was awesome.
Nowadays we find ourselves
Lost in the pursuit of success,
Of some future achievements
That will give our lives a sense of accomplishment,
A sense of meaning,
Something that would define 
The awesomeness of our lives. 
By living this way
We are letting the priceless time 
Of our lives fly away.
We do not realize how lucky we are
To even be able to do the things we often dread,
To see the things we don't always want to see,
To be alive. 
We are all so blessed, 
And it is truly awesome.
Everyday we are given a chance
To become better than we were yesterday. 
In our current lives
We have so much to be thankful for,
And we must never forget that. 
Each and every day we are given on this earth
Is proof of life's awesomeness.
We can all still be the little boys and girls
We once were. 
We only have to sit back
And realize that life, 
Our lives,
Right now,
Are truly awesome.
