The curtain is heavy
and the curtain is thick
to be moved, you have to be quick
for people I care about it's more like a blind
sometimes you may get a peek inside
it takes someone strong and determined enough
to move this curtain; it can be quite rough
I hide behind the curtain in fear of rejection
and it takes someone special for me to see my true reflection
behind this curtain is someone I love
and only certain people can set me free from it, like a dove
