PU GNIWORG

I think about how I didn't want to grow up
But for everyone it happens someday
When did I realize I grew up?
It happened one day
Counselors came into the classroom
"You have to start college applications!"
COLLEGE, that 7 letter word of fear
But I had to expect that the time is near, I had to accept that the time is here
No more Mom to cook your lunch, no more Dad to pick you up from school
You have to be your own person now
You have to be responsible for you now
The time had to come one day
But college isn't all that bad
Growing up doesn't have to be all that sad
New opportunities
No more parents means that you have to learn how to be independent not dependent
No more easy classes means that you have to actually try and not give up
New responsibilities means new opportunities for newfound courage
But I do wish sometimes I can go back to those days before I had to grow up
Just go backwards in time, PU GNIWORG
