The Prison Life of Young Minds

Back to the dreary prison known as school,

the brainwashing ensues.

Brains begin to melt into a pool,

While the faces of the students look confused.

Teachers drone on and on,

Students stare off into space,

And no one suppresses a yawn.

Students strive to brace

For the worst that is to come

And can't wait for another break.

Students must succumb

For everything at stake.

Rest may be lost

and health may be tossed

But all at a "mandatory cost."
