Pretty Birds Like Me

Pretty bird like me,

Just set me free, I learned through all my tears and your foolish deeds,

I hope and I pray that you're well,

Your silly words don't harm me, but they sail

I search for peace beyond your words,

I sacrifice my anger cause it hurts,

And I'd hate and I hate what I've made myself

I'm learning to love beyond my health,

Don't you know that I'm just trying to be all I can be,

You hurt me in such ways where I don't know when i'll be free,

Free from it all, because one fight won't mean I'll bleed,

I learned to fight my battles with bruised knees
