Prayers
This day in age, it always seems
The world is bursting at its seams.
Brothers dying,
Mothers crying,
The most bloodshed that heaven's seen.
Rapes and bombings everyday..
It's not supposed to be this way.
Mothers bury children before thay grow old
And their stories are never told.
Who could've known that people
Like you, like me,
Could be so cold?
What happened to the love we're supposed to share?
People say we've moved forward,
But the proof's not there.
If we want to forgive and live as one
We must stand together
To erase the damge we've done.
