Praising God for who He is

It’s not my will but your way
I don’t want the last words it’s your say
God you’re the same yesterday as today
Thy will be done if you may
I walk through the valley gone astray
You bring me back safely as I pray
I fear no evil as you lay
Me down I sleep in green clay
Like pastures Lord you are my before and after Lord
I know I’m safe in your grip
From your fountain of life l will sip
My thirst will forever be quenched
With the Holy Ghost I am drenched
And I don’t think there’s enough thank you’s
Or a million times to say I’m greatful’s
Or a billion times to say I love you’s
And that I’ll never place another soul above you
So may my voice be used for your praise
Until my youthful brown hair until wisdom grays
Because there’s so many things I don’t deserve
So many blessings you gave that I never earned
You have done so much in my life’s sequel
that no amount of service from me will ever equal
to the amount of service you give
May you be the purpose that I live
May you forever be the same
I'll praise you God in Jesus name
