Power in the Individual, Change in the Numbers

Location

I am a speck of dust

Spinning round and round

Universe of stars

All bright and profound

On a big blue ball

Sad transforming gray

Make everyone’s mood

Reflect rainy day

Dust bellowing up

Consuming the air

Leaving our sore lungs

Gasping in despair

Waters turning black

Harm and kill our food

Black as the color

Reflecting the mood

Our environment

Eroding, crash burn

When community

Come together learn

What I’d do with help

So desperately lacked

Is work towards turning

That big blue ball back

We are more than dust

Come together bound

Universe of stars

All bright and profound

On a big blue ball

Shine bright once again

Make everyone’s mood

Reflect gay amend

Oxygen breaks through

Reassume the air

Treating relieved lungs

Gentle with much care

Waters change sparkle

Please let no more die

Sparkle as in shine

Seen in our eyes

Our environment

Can fix, it’s our turn

Community come

As one show concern

We can accomplish

With some help intact

Quick we can all bring

Our vibrant world back
