a poem for dead boys.

I saw Mars
hit Venus,
sent her
spinning like
a marble;

I came back to you
with
the planets in a
velvet drawstring bag

I took a string
and laced each
planet into one

I placed it
around your neck

And you ripped the string
sending the planets
into the sky

Because even the planets
weren't enough
to impress you
