#PhenomenalFlaws

Location

I wake up everyday trying to be #flawless

The lipstick, the blush, the eyebrows on #fleek

The perfect symmetry is what I seek

Yet I wont allow the voice inside speak

I tell myself “Look deep inside, you’re truly unique”

From your glittering eyes to your less than perfect feet.

We all want to flawless, who wouldn’t admit it?

The swell of my lips, and the sway of my hips remind me that I am enough

My kind eyes remind me that I deserve love

My sun smothered complexion that I recoiled against, I now wear with pride

My disobedient crown of hair, accompanies my stride

For self-deprecation, I have no time

Forget ridding myself of flaws, for I know they’re wonderfully, perfectly mine.
