Perkins

Location

The walls were painted,

never mind the sightless eyes.

Insignificant details passed up by vision that never was, is, or will be.

The lamps were shaded,

They blotted out the stinging light.

Patters, scratches, thumps – colors of the blind.

The wall, a mural of echoes and sound.
