Perfect Trash

Stale makeup and

Rotting laughter

Broken race cars that couldn’t go any faster.

Fermenting anger and

Broken smiles

How far can we go

Looking perfect all the while.

Salty tears and

Mouldy love

Could you kill us

If push came to shove.

You got me underneath your skin

Watch us break like porcelain.

As we slip though cracks so thin

Bury our hearts, deep within.

Then throw us out,

like the trash you think we are.

You want us to be perfect

But you pushed us

too

far.
