Perfect System

King Lear puts

His fist down

With an iron

Force so strong,

It wakes up the

Citizens, bright and

Early, at 6 A.M.

SHARP! To make

their bed, brush their

teeth, get dressed, and

get ready for some

Chow!

Should anyone refuse

To hear the sound

of King Lear's

Iron Fist, they

Shall be set at

The scaffold where

A leather snake

Sinks in his

Teeth on their backs,

20 lashings worth.

King Lear watches

From his footage,

Sends in his knights

In shining armor, to

Watch every citizens'

Moves and come back with

A checklist and a report,

To ensure the citizens' duties

Are met with utmost

Perfection.

The knights live in

their houses, expecting

each citizen to

Toil in their fields,

In exchange for a

Measely crumb of

Bread, and should

a citizen refuse,

The Bread will be

broken, and they will

have no choice but

To hold it before the

King, and be sentenced

To the dungeon.

But Cordelia,

Goneril, Regan, and the King's

Most trustworthy

Kent, discover the

Land of Canaan, and

For a moment the

honey seems sweet.

Until Goneril and the

Trustworthy Caius

get sick of it, and

reminisce on the

Meat pots they were

Blessed with from their

god. Regan, not knowing

The taste of honey, follows

suit, and Cordelia lives

Alone in her village until

Regan remembers honey's sweet smell.
