Perfect

Tue, 10/15/2013 - 20:15 -- iamtime

Its not a matter of how much

I love you.

Now it has turned into

a simple game between my heart and mind.

My heart pulls to the betrayal,

my mind reminds me of compassion.

Of how I strive

to remain selfless

and how hating you

is as selfish as I can get.

Yet I still can't do it,

still can't  just be happy for you.

So I'll pretend to smile

as you move through life,

just as perfectly as ever.

I do love you,

I just hate you for being

Perfect.
