The Peach Tree

From the winds of country and war,

An elfin body drapes fruits from branches that bore.

Loving tenderly and nourishing to each,

It’s knowledge and juices passed down to every peach.

Flourishing blooms of beauty grow,

And vibrantly abundant with velvet prizes just so.

Persevering through heat and winters cold,

Gracefully conquering the days of grappling old.

A being so desired by all each season,

It’s extraordinary gifts illuminate the reason.

What bears so precious and sweet it be,

Oh, the loveliest peach tree belonging to me.
