Patronizing Pride

It makes blood boil black,

And starts wicked and widespread wars.

It destroys friendships forecasted forever,

And weakens what was once wholesome.

It creates cancerious corruption,

And makes crony competion common.

That struggling ship that is our humanity,

Is lost in a fog of failing fruition.

One thing is clear,

Freedom and prosperity shed a tear,

When we let our pride steer.

So unbillow the stowed sails of salvation,

And swear to the sanctified sanity of the blessed hull!

Take the rudder from the rudimentary and rambuctious,

And save ourselves from our own self-inflicted obliteration.
