Past, Present, and Future

Location

I sometimes dwell in the past.

And I think about how time went by so fast.

I think about the choices and decisions I've made.

The friends I use to have fade.

I remember being younger and care free.

Running around trying to climb a tree.

Playing video games with my brother.

Those were fun times we had with each other.

Now I transition back to the present.

Its springtime and it brings a wonderful scent.

School is coming to an end.

Soon I'll be hanging with friends.

The present keeps me on my toes.

I think about what could happen but I never know.

Maybe I'll die today.

Or maybe I'll win a give away.

The future is what I think about the most.

Sometimes it scares me and makes me whiter than a ghost.

The future also gives me hope.

Maybe soon I can get a scholarship that'd be dope.

I think about starting a family and staying with my high school love.

I'd marry her and at our wedding there'd be doves.

We'd have two kids and a few pets.

Hopefully we don't have a ton of student debts.

I think about college and how I'll pay for it.

I've been looking for scholarships to pay for a bit.
