Pandora’s Box

It seems Pandora’s Box has opened

With many horrific evils all abound.

Look around at the natural disasters now,

That cause our heads to defeatedly bow.

Along with poverty, greed, theft, murder,

And one of the worst evils we call cancer.

If only Pandora would close her box

We could secure it with better locks.

Then we would no longer have to fear

Or painfully shed many a helpless tear.

For we would be safe forevermore

From these terrible tragedies galore.
