Pain

Mon, 12/01/2014 - 19:28 -- Grey

You’ll never understand pain until,

You hate the mirror and the girl you see.

You’ll never understand pain until,

When every day is a fight to live.

You’ll never understand pain until,

You’ve held your friend’s hand as they slowly died.

You’ll never understand pain until,

You have lost every tear you could possibly cry.

It’s not a matter of living for years,

It’s success to make it a day.

It’s not an issue of making others smile,

It’s not breaking down in front of a crowd.

It’s a matter of having a split heart,

It’s not having the stronger half.

It’s an issue of not understanding yourself,

It’s hurting others due to your flaws.
