The Overbearing Secrets of My Life

Location

A beautiful face

A tormented past

An undeniable mystery to the audience of my life.

I show,

You see

The visible scars upholding the lie of my life

To hear the whispers,

To know the truth,

Of those who place judgement of my life

I face a lie

I hide the truth

To those who think they know the story of my life

They know?

They don’t

Of the invisible scars searing the truth of my life

An emotional state

Beyond the abyss

Of ever leaving the past of my life

A definite silence

Of a wandering soul

This is the reality of my life
