Over Sexualized and Under Appreciated

She stands on the corner, barely 18

Hasn't showered in days but waits

Waits for a man who needs an illegal touch

The body of an adolescent becomes tainted

She looks for independence on an incredibly tight leash

However , this is not what she saw in the movies

This is not the freedom she wants

She wants to go home.

The first car of the night pulls up

The other girls let her have it

Her bruised and battered face attracts sympathy

She can't go back without a profit...not again

She leans into the passanger's side

He stares with lustful eyes

She remains strung out

She gets in on the passanger's side

She can't get out

She doesn't get out.
