The outcast

We are the outcast,we are the broken

the ones who you cast a single judging glance at

but the truth is if you had to experience the same things they do

you would not survive

We are the survivors of a sick sad world

we have been broken,beaten,and defiled

we have a list a mile long of the trauma

we have all experienced

So before you cast that judging look at them

or say something derogatory just think

that those maybe the last words they will ever hear

because every day we are on the edge of life and death

We aren't only teenagers, some of us are just children

others of us are adults and elders

instead of hate we deserve respect because we are fighting a never ending battle

we have to fight our own demons and so many of us lose

We are the Broken, We are the depressed

amd that is our truth, the trauma we face is unimaginable

you have no clue how many of us commit suicide on the daily

we aren't not attention seekers, we are victims
