OUT FOR A LAUNCH

One by one, piece by piece

Day and night, pass me by

As I ponder on what could have been

A glimmering lantern of hope

Guided my way

I cast it aside for a fool’s ambition

At the edge of glory was my brain

Quickly an edge turned to a cliff

Overboard

Our vision of splendid fabrications

Are the fashion of our frame

From the heavens of victory I tumbled down

To flat fiery concrete

Underneath Lucifer’s heel

A crumbling castle

Laid on my back

Forevermore to burden with

The chain of hell constrict my wings

We model a fatal mystique
