Our Love can Bare

Our Love Can Bare (#BecauseILoveYou)

We respect, we trust, we love, we care

In the bond that we share.

Everyone thinks our love can bare

The fights that hurt more than any blow

The insecurities we’d rather not show

Or the lies that we’ve told.

Then we talk to each other and listen with our ears

About things we’ve cried and cheered

For. The good, the bad, and the weird.

Because I love you, I’ll tell the truth

Even if it hurts, I’ll blurt

My thoughts to you because you should know.

Because I love you, no hold backs,

Setbacks, or flashbacks

Except you and me, now, together.

Because I love you, with you I’m open

I’m broken, and knowin’

That you’re broken too.

But for now, 1 and 1 make 2

The boy one day fits a man’s shoe

And two halves make a whole

We’re together #BecauseILoveYou
