Our Journey

It’s hard to believe that it has been seven months since we came to be,

I have never felt this way about anyone before or really anything

I am so glad I came across you on the web

Facebook does have its perks

I was so excited and so clueless when you asked me to dinner

I felt like a silly school girl feeling all giddy inside

I wasn’t sure what this was going to be like

You took me by surprise

After dinner then you asked me to the bar, I realized hmmm are we gonna go this far?

I was so indecisive and didn’t know what to do

I got up the courage and took you up on your offer

This was something I knew I wanted to last longer

 So we went out to the bar, what a night it was

  Our official first date was so great

I finally realized this was something that felt so right

Early next morning you asked me to be your girlfriend then and there I knew this was something so precious

Here we are now 7 months, it seems like it has been eternity

I have loved every moment we have shared, every month that we have been together

Together forever is how I see us being

Two College sweethearts that are meant to be is what seems like the game plan is to me

Thank you for being so kind and true

This is why I love you, you are my world but most importantly “ the best of me”.

Thank you for these last 7 months it has been some of the best months of my life

This is how I know that I want you always every day until we turn very old and grey

Our love is such a treasure this is why I know it will last forever.
