Other Side of the Coin

Location

Be true to where you come from

But don't make it what you are

All people are quite different,

Yet not too far apart.

No matter what you look like,

upon this planet Earth.

We're all brothers and sisters,

we all have the same worth

Why do wars rage over differences?

Why do men and women starve?

When we have so much in common

No matter where we are?

So I call out to you today,

And this is what I have to say

"My brothers and my sisters,

Let us fight no more.

Let us love each other,

For better or for worse

For we are all human,

and now we must rejoin.

I could be just like you

If fate's flip had landed on the other side of the coin.
