There's just something about reading through another world that helps you forget the one you're actually in,

or maybe there's something about reading a situation somewhat like your own,

you know,

to compare,

or a situation you wish was your own,

you know,

to dream,

or a situation you're glad isn't your own,

you know,

to be thankful,

sometimes I like to imagine I'm somewhere that isn't here,

getting lost in the pages,

forgetting how lost I feel sometimes,

slowly finding myself in a character,

and somehow I know myself one page more than I did before,

Books.
