One Must Imagine Humanity Once Existed

One must imagine that humanity was happy.

One must imagine that humanity was cheerful.

One must imagine that humanity was ambitious.

One must imagine that humanity was virtuous.

One must imagine that humanity was harmonious.

One must imagine that humanity tried.

One must imagine that humanity's failure to strive wasn't their own fault.

One must imagine that humanity's fable is one that tells a tale of the legends.

One must imagine that humanity's legends aren't gods.

One must imagine that humanity was ingenuous.

One must imagine that humanity was overall just another attempt of reality trying to develop a meaning.

One must imagine that reality was once their refuge.

One must imagine that reality is benevolent.

One must imagine that reality is ambivalent.

One must imagine that reality is really real.

One must imagine that we too tried to write down this meaning.

However,

One must also imagine that the life we all lived was for nothing,

And so thing nothing shall be our only meaning to leave by.
