One More Time

If I could say
One more time,
One thing to you
In hopes of changing your mind,
I'd tell you how
Sad she is, lost without you.
How I myself am not too sure
What to do.
But in a permanent state,
That you are in,
I understand that you
Won't be back again.
To join you one day,
We'll pick up where
We left,
When I told you, hold on,
Just five months left.
That was before it
Swallowed you whole.
She would love you I know.
The best grandparent around,
Never again to make a sound.
