resonating through my blood

through my fingertips
dripping ink
staining pages

If I could write
about music
for the rest of my life

set to moving pitches
with changing time
evoking emotion

Words are powerful
shaking the ground
spinning the Earth
clutching my heart

to change people
to course through them
