Growing up a nerdy girl
BB guns, video games and near the lake
I learned to read really late
once the reading started
it never really stopped
my interests were forever swapped

Devouring every story
leaning every trick
I thought, "I can do this! What will make them tick?"
Poems and short stories, I wrote it all
eager to explore my limits
to see what I could do
what could I express?
I ventured on, still mostly in Swedish
I do prefer my native tongue

How did I fair in english?
I gave it a good shot
In life I like my lot
