One Day

One day everything will be put in its place,

even with this crazy human race.

Open your eyes to what's in front of your face,

and slow down that run to a walking pace.

The world holds many hidden beauties,

and good looking cuties.

No need to rush the practicalities,

take into account all the possibilities.

Why can't we ever find what we are looking for?

Is it that we are always wanting more?

Sometimes the answers lie in silly folklore,

and sometimes we can never know what's in store.

Love is the greatest gift that is given,

so let's spread it through the world we live in.

We've been corrupted by these huge mountains of sin,

with everything from sex to gin.

Our world
