Ode to My Computer

(poems go here) Ode to My Computer
While others think you simple,
To me you’re so much more.
With my own hands I built you,
From parts bought at a store.
You’re capable of many things,
Not everyone can see,
But from the time I’ve spent with you,
So close we’ve come to be.
So many hours we have spent,
On games and talking to,
Friends and strangers near and far,
I‘ve met through using you.
I can’t imagine life without,
A day upon your keys,
For when I sit in front of you,
The hours drift with ease.
Though there are times when we must part,
And I do other tasks,
You’re always on my mind until,
Our paths again do pass.
Forever you’ll be part of me
No matter where I am,
For you computer, are my life,
My soul mate and my friend.
