Ocean commotion

Maybe if we cared more

Maybe if we could make this less of a chore

Maybe we could change it to how it was before

Maybe it’s easier for us to ignore

Maybe to just walk past the garbage onshore

But do we need a revolution?

Just to find the solution

To end the pollution

Or just an evolution

Couldn’t we all just pick up trash?

Could that be easier than just walking past

Couldn’t it just all burn and crash

Could we walk away and let turn to ash

Could we make a splash?

But do we need a revolution?

Just to find the solution

To end the pollution

Or just an evolution

I believe we must not litter

I believe that can save our sea critters

I believe we must look up from twitter

I believe action can save our critters

I believe we’ve made the oceans bitter

But do we need a revolution?

Just to find the solution

To end the pollution

Or just an evolution
