Malina Rorn, also known as Lina, 21, of Lemoore, California, died on the night of her birthday on March 28, 2017 as a result of driving drunk in Los Angeles, California after celebrating her birthday involving wild friends inside her car with her who also died. She was born in the year 1996 in Modesto, California and was raised in Lemoore when she moved there at the age of 8 where she went to high school. At the age of 18 she moved to Santa Clarita in Los Angeles and went to LAVC then transferred to San Diego State after two years after getting her associates. She was currently enrolled there at San Diego majoring in fashion design.Lina had many life accomplishments and goals. She struggled her whole life and worked hard to make it through and earned everything she had. She was pursuing to become a fashion designer, went to school, and worked 3 jobs with not much help from people besides her boyfriend and his family. Her highest degree she received was her Associates. During her high school and college years she was involved in many clubs. She was an average student who just enjoyed life for what it is. She was very active, nice, smart, loving, energetic, positive, and full of life had much more to experience in life    and died at a young age due to one bad mistake one night.Lina is survived by her mother Teap, of Las Vegas, Nevada; her brother Nathan and her sister Melanie, both of Lemoore; her grandparents, of Modesto. She is also survived by her boyfriend, Michael L. McCormick, and their newfound friends from LA and SD. Funeral arrangements are being held by the Santa Clarita Funeral Home in Santa Clarita. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 2-10pm. The Funeral will be held on Friday at 8:30a.m. at the funeral home.
