Numbing

Tue, 07/15/2014 - 13:58 -- Lea
Need something to numb the pain

You've introduced yourself to intimacy
A vacation from the everyday with another vessel
The pleasure of being wanted takes over you emotionally
Two bodies coming together as one thrills you physically and mentally
Then the realization occurs that sharing this with too many people is not what's meant to be

Need something to numb the pain

You find out about liquid courage
The trip you take to who you really are
The tingle in your veins gives your soul the strength needed to go far
Far away from the negative, so to continue the feel you take more in
Slowly your problems are ignored, but you know this can't be what you live for

Need something to numb the pain

Mary attracts you with her scent and her beauty
As you inhale her many wonders you exhale the sadness you have growing
She helps you escape to paradise
A place where you can relax and be free,
But this momentary euphoria is still not fulfilling

Need something to numb the pain
