Now what?

Proverbs 22:8 New English Translation (NET Bible)

8 The one who sows iniquity will reap trouble,
and the rod of his fury will end.

Where are you now my faded one with the opposition of yesteryear?

Impossible for you to remember me as you made my brothers victims?

You listen more often to others whose heritage was built on fear

For that, you induced the providers of your ever-growing sickness

Yea! Without any consideration, you slaughtered whom you willed

Relentless without feeling your remorse you kicked the carcasses aside

Where is the destination? Now as your own conscience is slowly grilled

And the hatred for your fellow man takes you for a detrimental ride

What about your offspring and the destiny of your family tree

The heritage that you planted has been fertilized by your greed?

The blood you spilled for decades is stenciled for Eternity to be

As your conscience burns in your everlasting “hour” of need?
