Nothing is Wrong
Location
I have Autism.
I'm awkward, many social problems,
Can't look at you in the eyes,
Sensitive in the weather of Autumn,
I can't talk to, well, anyone,
without feeling guilt, or some sort of shame,
I try to smile but I can't,
don't know what to say when people ask for my name,
It's just that, there is nothing wrong,
Socially, I'm awkward, sometimes it takes long
For me to figure out of what you're trying to say,
I make it hard for you to talk to me, the area is gray,
It's not my fault, I promise, I don't mean to make you mad,
I can't tell if I satisfied or disappointed my mom and dad,
My life, full of stress and setbacks,
I need to learn how to breathe, let my head back,
The things you ask for is psychologically demanding,
The only girl that I love is the one who understands me,
It's a disability at best, a curse at the worst,
Living with an Autist, living with Asperger's.

I love this poem- especially the title! Not only do you shed light on something that affects many individuals, but you write in a positive way about just being yourself, and how that's okay, which is just what poetry is for! Amazing work- check out "poetry writing tips" in the "resources" section for inspiration for writing even more, wonderful poems!
