Nothing Gold can Stay

Woke up one morning and there she was
The ghost of who I once was
She laid there pale and cold
Leaving me with a heart of stone
Roses no longer bloomed
They all died in this room
The morning light faded away
There was no reason for it to stay
So frost settles on the dead
Leaving me alone in this bed.
