Not a Kid Anymore..

I woke up lost and confused,  running through my house in a daze.   I can't seem to find him.  Walking into the kitchen, my mom greets me with a smile as  though nothing is out of the ordinary.    Suddenly the smell of alcohol greets my nose,  an I remember that I'm not a kid anymore.    Monsters aren't the only thing to be afraid of. And moms and dads won't be around forever.
