Not Enough Hours in the Day

It's the simple things in life that take our breath away

Yet the simplest gestures you do make my life complicated

If I smile, you smile and you make my heart melt

Oh how I would love to see you dance

You see, it's not just the attraction that's fatal but your very essence

If I don't watch myself, it's easy for me to get caught up in the very thing I stand against

I'm amazed by your breath and how your heart beats

I'm astonished that a body can contain such a beautiful soul

I wish I could open up my mind without opening my mouth because your stature makes me lose my words

In the blink of an eye, you stole my heart, locked it up, and threw away the key

My foot is planted against the ides of slavery, but I'm begging not to be free

You have cast a spell and I'm enchanted by your power...

                                                                  ...don't let this moment pass
