Norma Jeane, The Blonde Bombshell

An icon, but she’s not just pretty.

Originally known as Norma Jeane,

Marilyn Monroe proved she was witty.

The fifties, you could see her in any scene.

Influential is how I see my idol.

She did succumb to her depression, but

Her words made waves like forces of a tidal.

A sex symbol had some rolls on her gut.

A sign of positive body image.

I get insecure and it’s okay,

‘Cause insecurity is a scrimmage,

You can learn from it and it can pay,

If you lose, doesn’t matter ‘cause you learned.

She does lots for me, so her fame she earned.
