The Noises of the Farm

"Meow! Meow!" says the cat.

"Bark! Bark!" says the dog.

"Screech! Screech!" says the bat.

"Oink! Oink!" says the hog.

"Moo! Moo!" says the cow.

"Bleat! Bleat!" says the lamb.

"Squeak! Squeak!" says the mouse.

"A lucky farmer, that I am."

"Get on up!" calls the mom.

"Here I come!" calls sister Kate.

"Where's my bag?" calls brother Tom.

"Hurry up now, don't be late!"

"Cluck! Cluck!" says the chicken.

"Neigh! Neigh!" says the horse.

"Sizzle! POP!" calls the bacon.

The farmer smiles from his porch.

"Time to eat!" calls the mom.

"Where's my shoe?" calls sister Kate.

"Smells fantastic!" calls brother Tom.

"Come on, honey, grab a plate!"

"Ribbit! Ribbit!" says the frog.

"Hee-haw! Hee-haw!" says the ass.

"Our food please bless, Almighty God."

The farmer loves his lovely lass.

Throughout the farm the noises drone,

A hum that never ends.

Yet the farmer loves his noisy home

Where lives his family and animal friends.
