Noise

Pounding head
Adrenaline rushing through
Youre fighting to stay calm
But the moment overtakes you
Too much screaming
Too much noise
It's terrifying
And you just can't hold on
Control slips
Anger ignites
What right do they have
To fight every night?
There's too much pressure
Too much stress
You can't handle anymore
Yet they keep piling it on
How do you survive?
How do you keep your cool?
All I can do is sink away
Fight the urge to scream
Disappear from this reality
Into my own head
And hope that I can return
And that everything will be silent
Even if for just a moment
