What is beautiful?

Depends on what you see

Someone youthful?

Though pictures are less than truthful

Cameras are off kilter

Making perfection doable

With layers of filter

 

What if we stripped it away, showed our personality

We'd see society's image is inexcusable

Making us try so hard for a new identity

Creating an image unexecutable

This should be inexcusable

This image we shall no longer cater

So, we will no longer look usual

Let's take off the filter

 

What is beauty?

What is beautiful?

It is me

And it is you

Though we have flaws that are improvable

They are what make you unforgettable

You don't need help to make you glitter

For your glow is plentiful

Without the filter

 

Whether you are old or juvenile

A thinker, trickster, dancer, baseball hitter, brother, sister, country boy or hipster

Feel free to be undefinable
